I recently stayed at Cabinas Midey for a two-night trip with friends. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The location was fantastic, just steps away from the beach and close to restaurants and food stores. I felt safe with the gated parking area, and the pool was clean and the perfect temperature. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Although there were a few drawbacks, like noisy surroundings and an awkwardly located pool, the overall experience was positive. The staff was accommodating and even did our laundry for free.

There were some minor construction noises during our stay, but they were done by 5 pm and didn't disrupt our overall experience.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Puntarenas called Cabinas Midey. The price was incredibly good, and the location was fantastic. We booked two rooms for four people for two nights, and it only cost a little over $200 US. The hotel is conveniently located right by the cruise ship pier and the promenade area called Paseo de los Turistas. This promenade had carts and stalls selling various items right by the beach, making it a great place to explore. We also found lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms at Cabinas Midey surprised me with their modern amenities. They had comfortable beds, modern showers with hot water, tile floors, and even a mini fridge and air conditioning. The staff at the reception spoke good English, which was helpful. I was very impressed with the quality of the rooms, the nice pool, and the overall value for money.
